Attitude towards Punjabi language; Bi-lingual system or actually driven by dominating language system

Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ) is a language that has more than 125 million native speakers in the Indian subcontinent and across the world. It is ranked the fifth in the most-spoken native language in Canada  It is written in both the writing

systems: Shahmukhi or Gurmukhi that makes it rare. Percentage share of Punjabi as native language is for both the countries Pakistan and India, decreased from 57% to 44 % and increased 2.57% to 2.83 %; in the time bands 1951 to 1998 and 1971 to 2001, respectively.



Punjabi university, Patiala, India (established in 1962) is only the second university in the globe to be named after a language.
There so many Punjabi Diaspora people across the world conducting their valuable research in various fields’ arts, culture, science, medicine, technology, space. Many thousands of esteemed articles are published in pre-eminent journals. However, authors do not find a single journal/reporting societies, yet, that can publish their translated version of their manuscripts in their mother tongue(Punjabi), without hampering their intellectual rights and organic growth of the articles(with impact factor).Now these days, Russian and Chinese translated scripts (Science and Technology) are published. This is a point of learning and working areas where art and science students and communities can come on single platform.
 Reviewer system of the journal would have helping in building cultural, social relationships and in the same time job opportunities.

In the past years, many authors have been conducted studies on culture, art and bi-lingual systems.
What are the possible factors that influence the shape of Punjabi language in the regions of India, Pakistan and across the globe?
English language is adopted by society due to economic insecurity, societal trending, and growth in job platforms globally, and in psychological terms. Questionnaire based studies reveals some interesting facts.
This might be an initial course of language death!!!!
In present time, English is counted as skill not just a language. English speaker can decide the futures of native languages, Punjabi, Urdu or even Hindi. Since, both languages (English and Punjabi) are very much different from each other in regard to their scripts, sentence formation, and language terminology. Even people finds it’s hard to learn, since there is a trend or they have to be flown with water, are feeling its necessity for their growth and empowerment of an individual.
In the Socio-cultural terms, authors pin pointed towards the statements
‘Why do we say that Waris Shah is Shakespeare of Punjabi?’
‘Why not we say Shakespeare is Waris Shah of English?’
There is no such comparison in the esteemed writers. It pin points towards the burgeoning of one language over another language. These statements forces someone’s to rethinking of our attitudes and disciplines towards native language.
Economic values and fulfillment of physical and material demands and moreover, physiological, cultural and social factors are in line with English language. Since this is not the end of the world.
In the another study, outcomes of Questionnaire based studies that children are more conscious towards English speaking while parents feel that their children has to adopt both languages national and international language and English. In this case, both the parents and their children feel less attraction towards their mother tongue (Punjabi).
In the recent times, brain imaging techniques are adopted for flourishing the learning of foreign language or second language. In this, performance of understanding towards a language can be enhanced by training and task management.
Role of language proficiency tests (TOEFL, CELPIP, IELTS and PTE) can never be ignored in this respect.
